Are you tired of working out and eating well, but never truly removing those stubborn lumps of fat?
When understanding the human body, there is a lot of different functions that go into the appearance and shape of the body. Each person’s body has a certain number of fat cells, which will grow or minimise in line with a number of different factors. Unfortunately while the size may change, the number of cells will not. It is this fact that makes some patients disappointed with the appearance of stubborn fat that will not go away.
In cases such as this our highly experienced plastic surgeon, Dr David Morgan, may suggest liposuction.
Why might Dr David Morgan suggest liposuction?
Liposuction can be an ideal treatment for our patients that wish to remove stubborn pouches of fat that they feel cannot be eliminated with diet and lifestyle changes alone. Some areas that may be suitable for liposuction include:

How is liposuction performed?
The liposuction will begin with a detailed consultation to ensure that you and Dr David Morgan share a common vision for the results of your surgery. Once the initial consultations have taken place you will be placed under general or local anaesthetic depending on your particular situation. A small number of incisions will be made in order to enable access to the fat deposits.
Once the surgery is completed and the fat has been extracted, your wounds will be covered with waterproof bandages so you will be able to shower when you feel ready. Recovery time will differ from patient to patient, bruising and swelling can be expected for the first 2weeks. Normal activities may be resumed within 3 weeks, and strenuous activity may be resumed within 6 weeks.
